Initial leather pieces.
Sewing the arms in, inside-out.
Sewing head together and ears, inside out.
Trimming and resewing the arm-ends, inside-out.
Cutting belly piece and hole. Through belly hole, you can see the slit I cut in the back of FrankenPanda. This is where the final inside-out sewing of belly and legs will be done through; then sewn up last, after stuffing.
Sewing the belly patch.
I had previously sewn the legs inside-out, then reversed them to be sewn from the inside, through back slit.
As you can see; I wasn't able to properly wrap my mind around the twists and inversions that I had subjected my FrankenPanda leg to... and ended up sewing it on backwards.
I was not about to pull out all that stitching, however, and trimmed the legs to eliminate the cute little foot detail. I'll try not to mess up the next one.
Stuffing the FrankenPanda with aquarium filter polyester fibre.
Sewing FrankenPanda shut.
Buttons for nose and eyes.
Happy FrankenPanda!
