10 000 pieces

The Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society is a group of experts working to create a catalogue of the works of Norval Morrisseau. Just one tiny problem: It is believed that there are some 10 000 pieces in existence and they have a good idea of where one thousand are.

I spent some time in a bar, north of Nipigon, Ontario, that must have had dozens on the wall.

This would be nice...
A survey of "150 scientists and intellectuals" predicts the end of war, soon.
On the other hand, they predict the end of of religion, as well, so the survey may not be very realistic about the near future.

Official site of the Grand Canyon Skywalk; A glass bottomed bridge being built by the Hualapai Tribe, over a 4000 foot cliff. Sceduled to open in March, 2007. The site documentation says the bridge can survive a magnitude 8.0 earthquake and can hold "71 fully loaded... 747's". Apparently, safety is a concern. 8-) Flash site
