Large, handstitched rawhide and antler rattle.
Whitetail-deer rawhide and antler with acrylic paint, glass bead loomwork between the tines and strung glass, bone and metal beads. I had to sell this rattle for a song in Winnipeg last year when dad was in the hospital and we needed some quick cash. Oh well. I just wish that I had got some better pictures of it (this was scanned with the handy scanman 2000). As far as I know, I am the only person combining the loomwork with the antler; I like the "fan" look. Currently working on a new piece incorporating this style. Click to enlarge.
