Karl Rove and reporter who leaked CIA agent name. Photographed together in 2003 at some party. The button that Rove (and other guests) wore states "I am a source not a target." Indeed.

with "contest" in the subject line and a valid return email. If you are the winner, I'll email you back to get your mailing address. I'll pick two winners at random at the end of my Fort Frances Museum show (currently August 3,05).
The prizes: I'll be sending out two new paintings, rolled up and sealed in those handy postal tubes.
Pieces will be combos of acrylic, enamel, pencil and ink on Stonehenge paper. Unframed. Finished between now and then.
I'll probably have a get-together some sort, in the real world, to have an additional art giveaway at the end of the show. Here in da Fort.
Allright, good luck.
PS: If the winner comes from Japan or Lichtenstein, you'll get the painting after I scrape together a few nickels for postage.
PPS: It's free. No "shipping and handling" crap. Really.
Sat.update: If I get alotta entries, I'll make more stuff available.

Acrylic paint over thrift-store masonite and frame. All pics click to enlarge.
At times when NM couldn't afford 'archival' quality art materials he would paint on whatever was handy, with a limited palette; this piece is red and black acrylic or watercolour on acidic 'kraft' paper.
Pic is a scan of a polaroid, will post a better pic when I get a new digital camera.

However, if these footprints in Mexico pan out at 40 000 years, then all that gibberish will pan out to be more bad noise.

I sold it in MPLS, years ago without getting a decent pic. I will be hunting it down the next time I visit, OR, get current owner to send a pic (if I can locate her). Then I'll repost. All pics click to enlarge.
